Before launching my business, I spent years working in operations, management, customer service, and organization-focused roles, where attention to detail and reliability were everything.

Client preparation

To ensure the best cleaning results, a few small touches before I arrive help me focus on what matters most — the details that make your home shine.

A gentle checklist

Please:

  • Pick up personal belongings and clutter prior to arrival
  • Secure pets if necessary
  • Provide access to the home during scheduled service time

Excessive clutter or additional organizing requests may require additional time or an adjustment in pricing. For health and safety reasons, Margo's Cleaning Service does not provide biohazard, hazardous waste, hoarding remediation, or unsafe-condition cleaning.

Clear, thoughtful guidelines so every visit feels calm, respectful, and well cared for — from the moment we book to the final detail.

Vacuum Policy

For sanitary and cross-contamination reasons, I prefer to use the client's vacuum when available. This helps protect your home from any particles, allergens, or pet dander that may transfer between properties. If a vacuum is not available, I will bring my own — thoroughly sanitized between every home.

Toilet Scrubber Policy

To maintain proper sanitation between homes, I do not reuse toilet brushes from one client to another. I either use the client's toilet brush or a fresh, disposable scrubber that is discarded after use. This guarantees the highest level of hygiene in every bathroom I clean.

Cancellation

I kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or same-day cancellations may be subject to a 50% fee of the scheduled service to honor the time reserved for your home.

Access to Home

Please ensure access is arranged before your scheduled appointment — whether through a key, lockbox, garage code, or someone being home. If I am unable to access the home at the scheduled time, a lockout fee may apply.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged. Accepted forms: Cash, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp & Credit Cards coming soon (with 3% added fee).

Condition of Home

Pricing is based on the condition described at the time of booking. If the home requires significantly more time, deeper attention, or additional services upon arrival, pricing may be adjusted to reflect the actual scope of work.

Pets

I love pets! Please let me know in advance about any animals in the home so I can prepare and respect their space. For their safety and mine, please secure any pets that may feel anxious around new people or vacuums.

Satisfaction

If there are any concerns after your service, please reach out within 24 hours and I will return to address the area in question at no additional cost. Your comfort and trust mean everything to me.

Sanitation & Care Standards

Your home, health, and comfort are extremely important to me. I follow strict sanitation practices between every home — sanitizing equipment, swapping cloths, and using fresh supplies — so each space I enter receives the same level of care, attention, and respect as my own.
